APC PRIMARIES; BABAJIMI BENSON THANKS PARTY FAITHFULS, ENJOINS ALL TO BURY GRIEVANCES AND ENSURE VICTORY FOR THE PARTY CANDIDATES IN THE GENERAL ELECTIONS. | Shakiru Seidu.

Following the official release of the flag bearers of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, representing Ikorodu federal Constituecy, has thanked the party members for their participations in the just concluded Party's Primaries.

According to him, "I  thank our illustrious party men and women for their support at the primaries in Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Lagos East Senatorial District and Lagos State at large.

"As good party members, I urge us all to find the strength to put the primaries behind us and forge a common front towards the forthcoming general  elections. It is not about who won or lost, rather the quest before us is bringing greater good to our people.

"So let us bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity" Col 3v13-14.

"The bitter truth in politics is that there will be winners and otherwise, my sincere appeal is that we come together as one big united family working with love and sincerity."

JB, as he fondly called, congratulated His Excellency, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the governorship ticket, Hon. Bayo Osinowo for the Lagos East Senatorial District ticket, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade and Hon. Nurudeen Solaja for the Ikorodu Constituency 1 and 2 tickets respectively.

He appreciated all other contestants for making democracy vibrant and giving people the opportunity. "You are the real MVPs", he said.

He further thanked the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency for their continuous support on him. "We will be counting on it more in the days ahead and most especially in the general elections," JB revealed.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
