Chief Ernest Adegunle Oladeinde Shonekan, a British-trained Nigerian lawyer, industrialist, Politician and traditional Chieftain has gave up the gost today.

Shonekan was appointed as Interim President of Nigeria by General Ibrahim Babangida on August 26, 1993. Babangida resigned under pressure to cede control to a democratic government.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
