GLAMOUR AS CHARISMARTIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS HOLD 4TH BI-ANNUAL INTER-HOUSE SPORTS COMPETITION. It's aimed at promoting mental alertness in pupils, students, the Proprietress, Revd. (Mrs) Abiodun Charis Akinsanya reveals.

It was a memorable day when Charismatin International Schools, situated at Gbaga, Ikorodu, Lagos, held its 4th Bi-annual Inter House Sports Competition. The event which took place inside the school premises on Thursday, February 28, 2020, witnessed a great encounter between the Red, Blue, Yellow and Green Houses. It was no doubt a historic Sports competition to the Pupils, Students, and also the dignitaries.

The colourful March Past, the highly competitive races and several other sporting activities among the four Houses got the guests glued to the sports ground. Apostle Afolayan did the presentation of prizes to the invited Schools for participation. In the female race, Hosanna College took the 3rd position; Strong Tower Academy took the 2nd position, while Emlex College carried  the 1st position. Also, Mrs Bode-Adeoye presented prizes to invited Schools, in the male race, Hosanna College took 3rd position, Emlex College, 2nd position while First Runner College carried the 1st position.

The results from Charismartin March Past, Red house carried 3rd position, Yellow house carried 2nd position while Blue House emerged 1st position. Afterwards, the guests were later entertained with cultural display by students which was applauded and compensated.

At the end of the full sporting activities, the House with Red Colour took the leadership Trophy by lifting the prestigious Cup after clinching the first position in a grand style. The Yellow House claimed second position, while the Blue House emerged third winners respectively.

While speaking with MegaXpression correspondent, the Proprietress, Revd. (Mrs) Abiodun Charis Akinsanya, revealed that the event was aimed at promoting mental alertness in pupils and students of Charismartin International Schools. Saying maintaining physical fitness, creating a formidable interaction among the staff, Students and Pupils, thus developing the Psychomotor domain of learning for all round-education, elevating a high level of entertainment, building a team spirit attitude, uncommon interpersonal relationship skill among pupils and students and a host of other important values that cannot be over-emphasized.

The Executive Director, Mr Adeolu E. Akinsanya, also in the same vein, thanked the invited guests, Schools and Teachers for the spirit of togetherness and their demonstrated cooperation. He further applauded the unbiased Sports Officials and the Judges, while not neglecting the health department.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
