DAINI PLANS BIG FOR 2023 MAIDEN EDITION OF IGBOGBO MAGICAL FESTIVISTA. | Shakiru Seidu. ...Says it's aimed at engaging youths, promoting indigenous talents.

The Government of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA on Saturday, December 23, 2023, said it has put finishing touches in organising the maiden edition of Igbogbo Magical Festivista, which is a replica of One Lagos Fiesta (OLF).

Addressing MegaXpression Media and other Newsmen at the Banquet Hall of the Council Secretariat, the Supervisor for Tourism, Hon. Dauda Oshinlaja, said in line with the vision of Builder Olusesan Daini, the event would be an annual programme, while different star Artistes would be showcased. Adding that this maiden edition will hold at Agarawu Base, Igbogbo, on Christmas Eve, December 24 till the wee hour.

The Coordinator NYCN Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade AbdulLateef Odusanya, said in his remarks that the reason for the festivista was to keep the people of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA  especially the youths, happy and creatively busy.

Odusanya said this year’s edition of the Festivista would also see the introduction of a talent hunt and indigeneos talents, which according to him, seeks to discover, celebrate and reward exceptional talents among the youth or the young at heart in the areas of music, dance, comedy and other creative stunts.

"It's an event mainly for the youths, while the NDLEA would also be on ground as partner. We have equally put in place maximum security for the event," Odusanya stated.

Also, Supervisor for Agric, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon. Micheal Ayeni, added that the event is open to all youths, and enjoined everyone to celebrate peacefully. 

Among the Star Artistes that would be performing are Teefamous, Dee-Pee Da'Dragon, Seriki, DJ Annex, DJ Rayce, Slim U, Ijebu Boy, Danny Boy, Fobaking, TySleek, Butiano and others.
