IKORODU DIVISION CLASS OF 92 OLD STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION SET TO HOLD HISTORIC REUNION. | Shakiru Seidu


All is set as necessary arrangements have been put in place at the VIP Lounge, F1 Bar & Restaurant, beside Mobil Filling Station, Ebute, Ikorodu, Lagos, as the Ikorodu Division Class of 1992 Old Students' Association ready to hold its first historic Reunion. The event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 30th December, 2023, starting from 11am.

Speaking with MegaXpression Media, the Programme Coordinator, Oyesanmi Oresajo, said the Event is an assemblage of all Secondary School Class of 1992 in Ikorodu Division, noting that it is the first of its kind in the history of Nigeria.

"The reunion is going to be a great memory to re-ignite again, the bonding, the jokes, the jabs, the aging thing, and even how nature has dealt with some of us over the years. Such memory lasts a lifetime, and that moment of joy is simply invaluable," Oyesanmi opined.

He further enjoin all to be part of this epoch event. "Friends, it is an appeal as we have days to this event," he added.

Some of the expected faces to see at the event are Dr. Abiodun Fatai-Abatan, Senior Lecturer and Dean, Students Affairs LASU, Shakiru Seidu, Publisher and 2025 Chairmanship Aspirant, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Taiwo Odumbo, Principal, LASU International College, Kazeem Showemimo, Supervisor for Environment, Ikorodu Local Government and Engr. Abiodun Isikalu, Council Manager, Ikotun/Ejigbo LCDA.

Others expected faces are Evang. Muraina Sanni of Oriwu College, Kafilat Olukoga of Oriwu College, Barrister Quadri Abojukoro Yewa Grammar School, Yekeen Murisiku of Ikorodu grammar school, Shokunbi Saidat of Yewa grammar school, Dare Oshikoya of United High School, Abayomi Ademola of Ikorodu High school, Hakeem Disu of Ikorodu grammar school, Karimot Ogbara of Oriwu College, Kabirat Raheem of Oriwu College, Akeem Lamidi of Ikorodu grammar school, Sunday Okafor of Ikorodu High School, Tola Animashaun of Ikorodu Grammar School, Kunle Ogunfile of Ipakodo Grammar sch, Temitope Opaleye of Oriwu College, Princess Oluwakemi Ladega of Ipakodo Gram School, Muqadam Ibrahim of Ikorodu High school, Segun Isikalu of Ikorodu High school, amongst many others.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
