OMO'BA HAMMED AROYEWUN COMMISSIONS LEGACY PROJECTS, REELS OUT ACHIEVEMENTS OF HIS FIRST 100 DAYS IN OFFICE AS CHAIRMAN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA.

In celebration of his 100 days in Office, the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has commissioned three legacy projects across the Wards of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

These include the newly renovated and upgraded Ibeshe Primary Health Center, reconstruction of the existing building and construction of a new building in Bayeku Primary Health Center and the reconstruction of a Block of Six Classrooms with 6 units of toilets at Methodist Primary School Igbogbo. He equally reeled out his unprecedented achievements in his first 100 days in office, as the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

The Chairman reiterated that his administration is poised on delivering good governance by fulfilling his campaign promises and satisfying people- oriented needs, adding that his administration will not leave any stone unturned.

He said the commissioning reflected the council’s commitment to the GLORY Agenda, focusing on good governance, quality education, wellness of all residents, youth and sports development, and Infrastructural developments that directly benefit the people.

Aroyewun further used the opportunity to list some of the ongoing and completed projects which included the rehabilitation of Oliwo/Amoju road Igbogbo, rehabilitation intervention of Ojubode junction Igbogbo, rehabilitation intervention on Ilemere-Oshorun road Ibeshe, rehabilitation intervention on second phase of Agunfoye road, monthly medical outreach for Staff of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, initiation of a Primary School, Zumratul Islamiyyah Primary School Igbogbo, and support for Igbe Oloja Police Post, Igbe Oloja.

Others accomplishments listed are: Mentorship with HOA initiative, Youth Economic Submit, reconstruction of JTF office in Bayeku, intervention on road usage compliance in Igbogbo park, support for Lajo community dilapidated link-bridge and Calvert placement of Pinapple Estate Igbogbo, amongst others.

In attendance at the commissioning were Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, Executive Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Mayor Ameen Apanishile, Chairman Ikorodu North LCDA, the Party Leaders, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Asiwaju Kaoli Olatunji Olusanya, Hon. Taiwo Orenuga, Hon. Gbenga Oshin, Yeye Asiwaju Bolanle Basorun, Otunba Olusesan Daini, Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, Alhaji Abdulahi Bobomi, the five Councillors, led by the Legislative Leader, Hon. Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, Ward Executives, traditional leaders, members of the Community Development Committee (CDC), Christian and Muslim Community, Artisans, Market women, and youth organizations were all in attendance.
