The Lawmaker, representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, Rep Babajimi Adegoke Benson, was on Saturday, February 14, 2026, repeated his monthly gesture, by distributing food items through iCARE Foodbank, to over 500 aged and vulnerable households across Ikorodu federal Constituency.

The erudite lawmaker, who doubles as the Chairman, House Committee on Defence, noted through the Director General of the iCARE Foundation, Mayor Deen Sanwo-Ola, that he's always happy to see smiles on the faces of his Constituents, while speaking with the MegaXpression Correspondence.

“This monthly gesture of iCARE Foodbank is beyond giving food items to the needy, it's equally to personally convey the much needed complimentary message of hope and assurances that representation must pass to the people at a very trying moment. It is to let my Constituents know that we truly cares," Sanwo-Ola opined

Speaking at the event, the Executive Secretary, Local Government Education Authority, Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, commended Rep. Babajimi Benson, for his magnanimity, noting that his kind gesture will not be forgotten in a hurry.

Odumbo thereafter urged all to keep praying for Rep. Benson and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election. "We should work hand in hand to make All Progressives Congress, APC, wax stronger and higher for the betterment of all," he added.
