CDAs, CDC ENDORSE AKINWUNMI AMBODE FOR SECOND TERM IN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu.

The Committee Executive and Members of Community Development Associations, (CDAs) under the Local Council Development Area of Igbogbo/Baiyeku, met today, Wednesday, 10th of January, 2018 at the Council Secretariat, Igbogbo, in the presence of the Council Chairman, Comrade Olusesan Daini, Vice Chairman, Mr Titilola Adegboyega, Councillors and other top management Staff to endorse the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode for second term in office.

The endorsement according to Alhaji Dauda, CDC Vice Chairman, is a result of the various achievements of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode's two years in office citing development in the health, education sector, security, infrastructural development among others.

He stated that as Community Developers, the CDC is not a political group but they can see the benefits of Ambode's administration and believes he deserves another term.

The Council Chairman, in his remarks assured the CDAs and CDC of government of inclusion and revealed the plan of appointing one of the CDC members in his cabinet, as done by Gov. Ambode to Alhaji Quadri Tajudeen at the State level.

Mr Titilayo Gboyega, Vice Chairman Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA in his eloquent address expressed joy to be in the gathering, says Mr Akinwunmi Ambode is a role model to the Local Council. After responding to the pleas and questions raised by the CDC members, he urged for community support for an all inclusive government for the betterment of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.

SENATOR OGUNLEWE DENIES ENDORSING GBOLAHAN OGUNLEYE FOR SECOND TERM.

Former Minister and GAC member, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe , has denied reports claiming he endorsed Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo for a second term bid to represent Ikorodu Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
