The life that is worthwhile is that which is lived in the service of others. Without mincing words, HON. MRS ADEBIMPE AKINSOLA has made history with her track record of firsts and passion for her people. Definitely, her name is included among the progressives in Ikorodu Division and Lagos State at large.

As the head of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the role and efforts of Maami, as she is fondly called, in achieving the vision of Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode for Lagos State in the Tourism sector can not be overlooked. Through her activities, handling of official assignments and dressing, she has promoted Art and Culture which are two of the major tourism drivers in focus in Lagos State.

Hon. Mrs Adebimpe Akinsola has done Ikorodu Division proud having worked tirelessly as a Lawmaker and as the Acting Commissioner for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. As a woman in the midst of intellectuals and technocrats, she went, she saw and she conquered.

She has been so tenacious and passionate about ensuring that Ikorodu Division is no longer short changed with regards to reaping the dividends of democracy. She is quick to encourage the involvement of this division in all the developmental plans in the state.

It was not surprising when news broke that HON. MRS. ADEBIMPE AKINSOLA has been reassigned to the Ministry of Housing as a SPECIAL ADVISER to the Governor barely 24hours after Governor Ambode presented and read the 2018 budget at Lagos State House of Assembly. This indeed is a different challenge but one we know that she is more than capable of handling.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
