OVER 500 FAMILIES RECEIVE MONTHLY RATIONS OF iCARE FOODBANK IN IKORODU DIVISION | Shakiru Seidu. Lagos H.O.S, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, Party leaders, others, applaud the uncommon gesture of Hon Babajimi Benson.

The Federal lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Babajimi Benson has again repeated his magnanimous gesture by giving out food items for over 500 people across Ikorodu Division.

The programme, since its inception has no doubt given succor to the less privileges, disables, elderly persons and other people in needs through the monthly distribution of food.

According to Hon Babajimi Benson, the laudable initiative was designed to prevent residents, particularly the indigent ones across the Division, from going to bed without food. While speaking with MegaXpression Community Magazine, stated that the foodbank programme is not politically motivated but an initiative to support homes.

“Foodbank program is not to win people’s hearts, rather, what we are doing is to support our people and enable them to feed themselves for a while, he explained."

JB, as he's popularly called, appealed to the electorate to vote massively for him and all other candidates on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by February 16 and March 2 respectively.

Head of Service, Lagos State, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, wife of the erudite legislator, Mrs Jumoke Benson, former S.A. and Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, Council Chairmen, LGAs and Wards APC Chairmen, Council legislators and Supervisors, over 500 beneficiaries, amongst others were in attendance.
