ADEBIMPE AKINSOLA TAKES CAMPAIGN OF APC CANDIDATES TO THE NOOKS AND CRANNIES, DEMANDS PEACEFUL ELECTION IN IKORODU DIVISION. | Shakiru Seidu.

The Convener of Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Support Group, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola and hundreds of her followers came out in large number on Tuesday to educate and enlighten the residents of Ikorodu Division to vote massively for All Progressives Congress, APC, candidates in the forthcoming elections. She enjoined all to eschew violence during the voting process.

The rally, which drew members of the group from Ikorodu LG, Igbogbo/Bayeku, Ikorodu North, Ikorodu West, Ijede and Imota LCDAs, started at the Homat Events Centre and ended at Hon Adebimpe Akinsola's house in Akin Ogunlewe street, Igbogbo.

Addressing MegaXpression Community Magazine during the campaign rally, the Convener of the group, Hon Akinsola, said the aim of the rally was to re-orientate electorate on how to cast their votes and the Party to vote for.

According to her, the group is also enlightening young people to participate in the political and electoral processes in order to make themselves relevant and their voices heard.

“The objective of the campaign is to increase youth voter turnout and peaceful participation in elections, non-violent and positive youth engagement and create awareness among young people on the importance of voting for APC candidates,” she added.

Akinsola enjoined all to come out emmase on February 16 and cast their votes for President Buhari, Hon Bayo Osinowo and Hon Babajimi Benson. While on March 2, to vote Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Hon SOB Agunbiade and Hon Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka.

Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, Comr Olusesan Daini, iCARE Team, Team Sholaja, Team SOB, Party faithful took part in the historic rally.
