MY MANIFESTO IF ELECTED AS CHAIRMAN OF OCOSAN, 91/92 CLASS SET. MY WORD IS MY BOND!

Distinguished members of Oriwu College Old Students' Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), 1991/1992 Class-Set. 

My name is SHAKIRU SEIDU and I am running for the position of the Chairman of our Class Set. I am running for this position because it is time to reposition this association with vigour and deployment of all strategies in order to make our Alma Mater great.

I have already had the opportunity to meet and work with great people, entrepreneurs, technocrats, politicians, erudite leaders from all works of life and some amazing people who create unforgettable memories. I have been involved in Student Union Activities to effect positive change at Higher Institution and my works still speak volume.

Basically, my initial aim when I become the Chairman is to raise Board of Trustees, BoT, that will partner with us to take the Association to the next level in order to cushion the effect of constant donations from members. 

The outgoing excos have done great, yet many more things need to be done to ameliorate the effect of education deficiency, dilapidated learning facilities, mediocrity and socio-economic menace that has affected the psyche of our students who will bear the flag of this community when we are long gone.

However, I am vying for the post of the Chairman of this prestigious and noble Association of ours to also passionately do the following:

-Organize free tutorial for JSS 3 and SS3 before their final Examination to enhance good results and zeal for learning. And we'll also pay attention to some of the school needs.

- Build synergy that will harmonize members of the 91/92 class-set and add awards and other glamour to our end of the year party. 

- Redefine the reputation of our existing quick means of communication, i.e. our WhatsApp platform.
- A more comprehensive and detailed financial activities of our class-set periodically.

- Final, my aim is also to increase communication between the Association and the School Authority to provide regular updates on what our class set is doing to improve the experience of all Oriwu students of which the multilier effect shall be a better and productive community.

Distinguished members of our Class-Set, my word is my BOND! I am up to the task for the race not for competition purpose but because I am passionate and committed to taking this association to the next level. I can assure you that giving me your SUPPORT will not be a waste if elected.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
