SUCCOUR AS '91/'92 CLASS SET OF ORIWU COLLEGE IKORODU GIVES 42 DUAL DESKS, BENCHES TO ALMA MATER, SAYS MORE ARE STILL IN THE OFFING. This will indeed enhance academic excellence, Principal Oriwu Senior, Mrs Ogunniyi reveals.

The Old students of Oriwu College Ikorodu, 1991/1992 Class Set, was on Tuesday donated forty two (42) Dual Desks and Benches to the School. A gesture aimed at providing comfort for the academic enhancement of the students and teachers of the School.

After the warmly welcome by the Senior School Principal, Mrs Abiodun Ogunniyi, she glorified God for the opportunity of life and the opportunity to see the 91/92 class set doing great things. "This is indeed a great day. We appreciate the contribution of the 91/92 class set towards the growth of Oriwu College. We commend them for putting aside from the little they have, knowingfully well that government can’t do it alone.

"Providing forty two (42) pairs of desks and benches will go a long way in reducing our problem of furnitures in the school," Ogunniyi said.

Alhaja FR Alimi, Principal of Oriwu Junior Model College, in her remarks appreciated the 1991/1992 class set for the initiative to partner with Ministry of Education in providing sets of forty two (42) desks and benches to citadel of learning, to make learning conducive for students and teachers.

"Your Class Set has left their imprint on the sand of time for deeming it necessary to embarks on this lovely project, your kind gesture is very commendable, surely prosperity will remember you for good. I thereby wish to appreciate and commend you for this giant stride," Alimi said.

Also speaking with MegaXpression Community News are, Kunle Olambiwonnu, Shakiru Seidu, Goke Ohunomojusi, Karimot, said the school has impacted so much in them at various accomplishment and fulfillment level, they therefore felt it high time their class set give back to the school that has nurtured and shaped them into who they are today.

The Headboy, Osho Demilade, in his remarks thanked the 91/92 class set for their magnanimity. "On behalf of the school management and the students of the great college, we really appreciate your class set for donating to us and I pray that the good lord will continue to bless you abundantly," he said.
