His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulakeem Adeoriyomi Oyebo, Obateru of Kingdom, on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, hosted the Traditional Rulers of Ijebu-Speaking Communities in Lagos State in his Palace.

The royal meeting which was held behind a closed door was presided over by the Chairman of the Forum, HRM Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom. Other Royal Heads in attendance include, His Royal Majesties, Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Secretary, Oba Ajibade Bakare-Agoro, Ranodu of Imota, Oba Babatunde Balogun, Elejinrin of Ejinrin, Oba Rafiu O.B. Speaking with our correspondent, Obateru of Egbin Kingdom told MegaXpression Community News that the forum is aimed at promoting the unity, peace, and friendship among the ranks and files of the established traditional institutions in Lagos State. He also noted that the forum was established to reflect and strengthen the cultural homogeneity of communities in the Lagos East Senatorial District and shall be a further boost to the rich cultural context of Lagos State.
