ROYAL HEADS STORM EGBIN KINGDOM AS OBA ABDULAKEEM ADEORIYOMI OYEBO HOSTS TRADITIONAL RULERS OF IJEBU-SPEAKING COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE. The forum blesses Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, Oba-Elect in Ilara Kingdom of Epe.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulakeem Adeoriyomi Oyebo, Obateru of Kingdom, on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, hosted the Traditional Rulers of Ijebu-Speaking Communities in Lagos State in his Palace. 

The royal meeting which was held behind a closed door was presided over by the Chairman of the Forum, HRM Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom. Other Royal Heads in attendance include, His Royal Majesties, Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Secretary, Oba Ajibade Bakare-Agoro, Ranodu of Imota, Oba Babatunde Balogun, Elejinrin of Ejinrin, Oba Rafiu O.B. Salami, Onibeju of Ibeju, Oba Richard Abayomi Ogunsanya, Olubeshe of Ibeshe, Oba Tajudeen Elemoro, Onitedo Oke Odo Iwerekun, Oba Olumuyiwa Ogunbekun, Onilekki of Lekki, Oba Abdul Hafeez Olakunle Badiru, Elejigbo of Langbasa, Oba Bashir Aremu Sotonwa, Sekumade of Ipakodo, Oba Ayodele Kolawole Aliru, Alade Uruka of Poka, Oba Asunmo Aderibigbe, Alayandelu of Odo Ayandelu, Oba Ogunbekun Olumuyiwa, Onilekki of Lekki, Oba Adewale M.Abdul, Olofin Ajaye of Orugbo Idoo, Oba Nelson Obayomi Ogunlari, Olowu of Owu-Ikosi, Oba Mufutau O. Ogunnukan, Adegbawojo of Odo Gbawojo and Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, Oba-Elect of Ilara Kingdom.

Others that added glamour with their presence are Obateru-in-Council, the Erelus, Osugbos, league  of Baales in Egbin Kingdom, alongside with some of the Oloris, led by Olori Precious Shotobi, Olori Obateru, Olori Rukayat Kasali amongst others. 

Speaking with our correspondent, Obateru of Egbin Kingdom told MegaXpression Community News that the forum is aimed at promoting the unity, peace, and friendship among the ranks and files of the established traditional institutions in Lagos State. He also noted that the forum was established to reflect and strengthen the cultural homogeneity of communities in the Lagos East Senatorial District and shall be a further boost to the rich cultural context of Lagos State.
