LAGOS LG POLL: HON. AKINSOLA THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND DAINI, OTHER APC CANDIDATES IN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. ...Says victory for APC is not negotiable.

APC Candidates of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, in the forthcoming Local Government Elections, Lagos State, were on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to one of the Apex leaders of APC in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and former Ag. Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, at her Igbogbo residence.

The meeting which is aimed at strategizing towards July 24 LG election, was lasted for 1hour 35 minutes, and attended by six of the seven APC Candidates. Builder Olusesan Daini and Mr Nureni Okedina-Maja, Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship Candidates, Basirat Banjoko of Ward C1, Hakeem Sholawon of Ward C2, Hon. Nurudeen Alimi of Ward C3 and Mr A. Anifowose of Ward C5 while Hon Mathew Arowolo of Ward C4 was unavoidably absent.

Speaking with MegaXpression Media, Hon. Akinsola said Daini and other candidates had her full backing, expressing optimism that the candidates will give victory to the APC in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA. She urged aggrieved members if any, to sheathe their swords and work for the party’s victory at the poll.

“What we need is to encourage the good people of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA to support us, and by the special grace of God, everyone will come out to vote for the APC on 24th of July,” Akinsola said.

Also speaking, the Chairman, Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA, and also the Chairmanship Candidate of APC, Builder Olusesan Daini, assured Hon. Akinsola that they're not leaving any stone unturned, to ensure victory for APC in the forthcoming election.

“With God, nothing is impossible, but the most important thing is for us to come together and work as one for the victory of our great party," Daini pleaded.
