IGBOGBO DAY 2025: ORGANISERS SET TO MEET STAKEHOLDERS IN IGBOGBO. "We're committed to historic celebration," Planning Committee Chairman, Sheriff Jinodu reveals.


As the 2025 Igbogbo Day celebration is fast approaching, the newly sworn in planning committee, headed by Alhaji Sheriff Jinodu, has concluded all arrangement to pay courtesy visits to some major community leaders in Igbogbo for blessings.

Speaking with MegaXpression News, the Chairman, Alhaji Sheriff Jinodu, said the Committee is not living any stone unturned to ensure this year's edition record a great success. "We'll put in our best to ensure we have a historic celebration," Jinodu assured.

The 2025/2026 Planning Committee Members were inaugurated on May 1, 2025, by His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom and the leadership of Igbogbo Development Association, IDEA.

Also in the Planning Committee are Femi Dankuwo, Vice Chairman, Hon. Basirat Banjoko, Toheeb Sanni, Secretary, Ismail Faniyi, member, Shakiru Seidu, Ipaye Wasiu, Sherifat Olatoye, Adeyemi Oshodi, Saidat Odeyemi, Sherifat Adesina, Saheed Oshinlaja, Oduntan Fausat, Aminat Aroyewun, Dr. Fatai Andu, Adewale Odumuyiwa, Idowu Hameed, Alhaji Adewale Gbadamoshi, Kazeem Ogunmuyiwa, Adeoye Obayomi, Dr. Adeleke Dankuwo, Micheal Ayeni, Comfort Olafare, among others.
