PRINCESS FOLASHADE OLABANJI- OBA BACKS PRESIDENT TINUBU’S SECOND TERM AMBITION. ...Reiterates commitment to APC's victory in Local Government Elections.


The Vice Chairman, Ikorodu LG and National Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGONVC), Aarebirin Hon. Princess (Dr) Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has endorsed the second term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, restating her commitment to work assiduously for the success of all the APC Candidates across Ikorodu Division. 

The Princess made this known during a press conference at Labule Hall Ikorodu, in a programme that was anchored by the MegaXpression Publisher, Mr Shakiru Moritan Seidu, SMS, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

In her eloquent address, Princess Olabanji-Oba, who's also a former Chairmanship Aspirant in the recently concluded APC Primaries, highlighted her roles as Global Director General of the Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM) and Coordinator of the APC Amazons.

“My service course is for a lifetime whether I am in office or not. I have given over 20 years of my life doing this, and there is no pausing at this point. If you can’t ascertain my love to serve Ikorodu, Lagos State, and Nigeria, you won’t be able to understand why I am always relevant and valuable to the system.”

She further reiterated her loyalty to the Party, All Progressives Congress, praising the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, while giving a strong support for Tinubu's second-term bid.

“No pain, no gain! At first, some of Mr. President’s actions were uneasy, but because they were made for the greater good of the nation, people are now seeing that there will be light at the end of the tunnel for all of us,” she opined, stating that Nigerians are beginning to acknowledge the positive impact of President Tinubu’s economic reforms.

She therefore charged the residents of Ikorodu Division to campaign for all the APC candidates across the Division, appealing to party Stalwarts to enmas in the forthcoming local elections.

"As we move forward as true progressives, I call on all APC faithfuls to vote enmas for Hon. Adedayo Ladega, Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem, Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon. Ameen Apanishile, Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, Ijede LCDA, Hon. Hammed Aroyewun, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and Hon. Benson Ayodele, Imota LCDA,” she appealed.
