ANXIETY AS DAINI SETS TO COMMISSION ULTRA MODERN 'AAFIN ADEBORUWA' IN IGBOGBO.


The executive Chairman, Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, will be joined by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, prominent Igbogbo Sons and Daughters, and all well-meaning people to Commission the newly Ultra Modern 'Aafin Adeboruwa' on Sunday, 20th July, 2025.

The new Palace was erected by the administration of Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, after the demolition of the old Palace rebuilt in 2007, by the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, when he the Governor of Lagos State.

While speaking with Shakiru Seidu of MegaXpression Media on Monday, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, emphasised that the project is dear to him and it's not limited to benefit the Adeboruwa -in-Council alone, but will serve the broader interests of all sons and daughters of Igbogbo Kingdom, who would be using the Palace from time to time.

Describing the Palace as a transformative Adeboruwa’s infrastructure, Daini noted that the facility will serve as a sustainable hub for cultural, social, and developmental engagements.

“The Palace, once commission on Sunday, will create a legacy of convenience and prestige for the Adeboruwa-in- Council. It will also provide a permanent solution to the logistical challenges faced during our events,” he said.

According to him, "the Palace will be a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with modern amenities. The project will include offices, an archive office to preserve Igbogbo’s historical records, fully air-conditioned offices for the King and other workers.

Meanwhile, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, said Igbogbo would still experience more tremendous progress and development, because the town would be a place that everybody throughout the world would be willing to visit.

The King further said his reign will not relent in bringing lots of more development to Igbogbo Kingdom because he believes that the town is hungry for more tremendous development and he is ready to do the humanly possible to make it happen.

"We are sincerely happy with the administration of Builder Olusesan Daini on this project, within the shortest period of time. I congratulate all Sons and Daughters of Igbogbo Kingdom on this historic edifice," the Odofin of Igbogbo, Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, stated while responding to our correspondence.
