LG POLLS: REP. BABAJIMI BENSON MOTIVATES PARTY STRUCTURES IN IKORODU FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY WITH CASH GIFTS, ITEMS. ...Charges them to deliver massive votes for APC, as he'll bring KWAM 1 for mega rally on Wednesday.


Ahead of the July 12 local government elections, the House of Reps. Member, representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has charged all the 30 Wards Excos, 6 LGAs Excos, all APC Chairmanship and Councilorship Candidates, leaders and other party stakeholders to work for the  APC's victory in the forthcoming Council Polls on Saturday.

Benson, who's also the Chairman, House Committee on Defence, urged all the party members to be united, work together and campaign in all the nooks and crannies of the 30 Wards to ensure that all the APC candidates win the local councils elections.

JB, as he's fondly called, spoke on Saturday during a Stakeholders’ Special Engagement/ feedback meeting with his Constituents ahead of the 2025 Council Elections, that the message of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to APC faithful on the forthcoming elections is for the party leaders and members to ensure the party victory in all 57 Councils in Lagos State.

Benson said to his Constituents: "Every election is local. Don't take anything for granted. Go and work; go and engage. Go and touch everyone that needs to be reached. Let the people see those that they want to vote for. Let the people know the candidates they want to vote for.

"We have come here to encourage ourselves. Let us go out and campaign for all the candidates. Let us go out and ensure a huge victory is for them. From the victory, let us see that indeed, the APC is a validly supported party in Ikorodu federal Constituency," Benson opined.

The erudite Lawmaker thereafter presenting the Six Chairmanship Candidates to the party structures in attendance, his Senior Legislative Aide, Mayor Deen Sanwoola, DG iCARE Foundation, announced the sharing of reasonable cash amount to all the 30 Wards Excos and 6 LGAs Excos, to motivate them for the elections. 

He further pronounced One million naira each for the Six LOCs in Ikorodu federal Constituency. Also, Six big Cows were given to the Six Chairmanship Candidates, to be used for cooking and share for the party agents and canvassers on the day of elections.

To crown it all, the uncommon Lawmaker, Rep. Babajimi Benson informed all the APC members to come out in their large number on Wednesday, 9th July, to Ikorodu Town Hall, and dance to the Fuji music Star, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, K1, who will use his melodious music to entertain all.

A new Chief Imam for the Igbogbo Central Mosque has been installed.
