DAINI BOWS OUT, COMMISSIONS FACILITATED LEGACY PROJECTS BY REP. BABAJIMI BENSON. ...As Party Leaders Hail Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA Transformation.


It was end of an era on Friday, July 25, 2025, when the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, commissioned multiple projects, facilitated by Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, to mark his last day in office.

Handing over the reconstructed Animashaun and Baganju Streets for use, Daini noted that the projects were in line with Rep. Babajimi Benson's promise to the people of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, to deliver dividends of democracy at the grassroots and make the impact of governance to be felt by all.

Joining the Chairman at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were dignitaries, including political leaders, serving local government officials and CDA leaders. Among which are the DG iCARE Foundation, Mayor Deen Sanwoola, who represented Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson. Also the Chairman-Elect, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Hon. Gbenga Oshin, Alhaji Jimoh Ogunmuyiwa, Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, Alhaji Jamiu Benson, Pastor Ola Ayetoba, Alhaji Olawale Amusa Homat, Alhaji Animashaun, Mrs Lamina, among others were in attendance.

While addressing the gathering, Daini declared that Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA had become a model for grassroots development, earning State recognition as one of the best local councils in Lagos State due to consistent delivery of impactful projects.

Daini also praised his team, political appointees, civil servants, and community members for their role in driving the administration’s success. “As I hand over, I do so with a full heart and a clear conscience. We gave our best, stayed true to our people, and built a legacy that will outlive this administration,” he said. 

He's handling the baton to the Chairman-designate, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun HOA, whom he described as a capable person to continue the good work in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

Other projects commissioned, that were facilitated by Rep. Benson, include Agbele Health Centre, Igbogbo, Oluodo Primary School, Igbogbo and Ilado Primary School, Baiyeku, where the Daini's led administration equally constructed the perimeter fence and eight toilets, in support of a block of classrooms facilitated by Rep Benson.
