HOMAT CELEBRATES 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH GLAMOUR. ...Appreciates teachers, non- teaching Staff and Parents who have been great partners.


In grand style, the Homat Group of Schools, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos State, rolled out the drums on Saturday, September 27, 2025, to mark the Schools' 30th anniversary. 

Dignitaries from all walks of life, including the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Member House of Reps., representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, former Minister and member of the Lagos GAC, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Member, Lagos Seventh Assembly, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Owner of Oriwu Sun Newspaper, Alhaji Monzor Olowosago, Executive Secretary, LGEA, Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, former H.O.S, Basorun Babatunde Rotinwa, former IKODAS Chairman, Hon. Rotimi Erogbogbo, CEO MegaXpression Media, Mr Shakiru Moritan Seidu SMS, School Proprietors amongst others, came to celebrate with the Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of Homat Group of Schools, Alhaji Amusa M.T. Olawale, who has produced over 9,000 students who are shining lights in different sectors of the country and in Diaspora.
  
In his speech, the Chairman, Alhaji Amusa, noted that the school is committed to continuous provision of a World-class education that prepares children for success in the ever-changing world. He added that the school was founded on a vision to provide quality education, nurture young minds, and shape the future leaders in the society.
 
“It gives me great pleasure to stand before you today as we celebrate a remarkable milestone in the history of our school. 30 years ago (in 1995) this school was founded on a vision to provide quality education, nurture young minds, and shape the future leaders of our society.

“I am really grateful to Almighty God who did not only give the vision, but has also been with us these 30 years. Honestly it has been God and I heartily ascribe all glory unto Him. Today, we gather to commemorate three decades of excellence performance in the education industry, three decades of perseverance in the face of daunting challenges, and three decades of dedication to a noble course and vision.
 
“Today, we celebrate the countless lives that have been transformed, the dreams that have been ignited, and the futures that have been shaped within the branches of HOMAT Schools, across Ikorodu Division,” Amusa stated.

While appreciating the teachers and non- teaching staff and parents who have been great partners, pupils and students and organisations, Alhaji Amusa said the school is committed to continuing the provision of a World-class education that prepares the students for success in the ever-changing world.

“I must not fail to appreciate the government of Lagos State, especially the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. HOMAT is thriving today because the government has provided an enabling environment and guidance.”
