The indigenes of Ikorodu Division in Lagos State have shown total rejection to a proposed bill in the Lagos State House of Assembly, seeking to cede Shomolu and Kosofe local governments to Ikorodu Division, stating that Ikorodu Division is composed of towns and communities who speaks Ijebu language and has have cultural and historical relationship even before the creation of Lagos State. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, has on Saturday inspected the total 2.2 kilometre road project, in order to ease the movement of goods and services in the area.
