HITECH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT ON IGBOGBO/ BOLA AHMED TINUBU/ IGBE ROAD. ...As Oba Kasali, Hon. Sholaja-Saka, others urge them to increase pace on the project.

Hitech Road Construction Company has reaffirmed its commitment to providing excellent job on Igbogbo/ Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ Igbe road rehabilitation. The Deputy Managing Director, Mr Dany Abboud, gave the assurance on Wednesday, in a meeting with the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali and House of Assembly Member, representing Ikorodu constituency II, Hon Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka, at Adeboruwa Palace Igbogbo.

According to him, Abboud said the road project which was awarded lately in 2017, started at the beginning of 2018, noting that there were issues of relocation, services and other preparatory work, than the designing issue that they're still working to amend some of it.

"Now, I want to assure your royal majesty, Oba Kasali and Hon Sholaja-Saka, that we are commencing full rehabilitation and hopefully we're not going to stop again.

"We are in the process of finalizing the commencement of the bridge and continuing on the road at the same time and by the grace of God, and cooperation of all, we will deliver the road soonest," Abboud said.

In his eloquent remarks, Hon. Sholaja-Saka, urged the Hitech to give the drainage a priority because of the rain and the bridge at the same time so that the water that is coming from the secondary carnal to the primary carnal will not go back to the secondary carnal which is causing a lots of avoc within the community.

The lawmaker, equally advised the contractors to engage people within Igbogbo community because most of them are ready to work and assist in making the project successful, MegaXpression reports. 

Also, the representative of the Permanent Secretary Engr. Afolabi Akinyemi, who's the Project Coordinator, said the road road would be served with well channel drainage, noting that there are four major areas where water is been diverted on the road.

The design on the Afa bridge is ready and even the piling machine is on site to start piling for the bridge. We have contacted the office of the drainage service to desist from the carnal so that when water flow massively it can go to the out pour," Akinyemi said.

The Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, equally urged the Hitech construction company to increase the pace of the job, stating that mosquitoes is affecting the palace whenever there is rain. "We'll be very happy if you can help us to ease the free flow of drainage so that we won't be affected by mosquitoes anymore," Odofin pleaded with the Hitech. 

The Chief equally urged the Ministry Officials to pay urgent attention to the owners of demolished structures, noting that the pressure of not paying compensation had been so much on Kabiyesi.

In his royal remarks, HRM Oba (Barr.) Abuldsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, appealed to the Hitech Contractors to avoid further delay on the road project.

"We've seen your work at Pen Cinema Agege and Airport road, we want you to replicate same here by giving us a beautiful road within our community, and let your good name be remembered in the history book of the town," the Monarch charged the Hitech Contractors.

"Let me assure that my palace will support and cooperate with you and reiterate that my people will not be of any problem while doing the project," Oba Kasali added.
