SEN. ABIRU REVALIDATES APC MEMBERSHIP, CHARGES LAGOS EAST RESIDENTS TO JOIN PROGRESSIVES FOLD.

The representative of the Lagos East Senatorial District at the Red Chamber, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, alongside his amiable wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru on Saturday revalidated their membership as bonafide members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

The registration exercise which took place at the Senator’s Ward, (Aga/Ijomu Ward A4) was supervised by officials of the APC Membership Registration and Revalidation Committee led by Dr. Bashir Ruwangodiya, Lagos State Chairman, National Supervisory Committee and the Secretary of the Committee, Barrister Wasiu Doyin Banjo.

After the revalidation exercise, the Senator flanked by his wife, to display the registration slips to the admiration of the party leaders who witnessed the exercise.

In a statement made available to MegaXpression Correspondence by his Media Aide, Mr Enitan Olukotun, Senator Abiru charges the residents of the Lagos East District who are not yet members of the party to join the progressives fold.   

Among the Party leaders that witnessed the exercise include the House of Reps. Member, representing Ikorodu federal Constituency and the Chairman House Committee on Defence, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, a permanent member, SUBEB, Dr. Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, Member, Lagos Seventh Assembly and former Ag. Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, APC Chairman, Ikorodu LGA , Hon Taiwo Longe, Mrs Kehinde Okeowo, APC Women Leader  among other Party stalwarts.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
