It was a celebration time on Saturday, when the Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly and the Opomulero of Ikorodu, Hon Sanai Oyeniran Bolanle Agunbiade, hosted prominent dignitaries at his constituency Office Ikorodu. Amongst which are APC leaders, political office holders, CDAs, market men and women, religious and traditional leaders, as well as other members of the public, to merry and interact with him.

"The annual thanksgiving is to thank God for reviving us throughout the previous year because there have been lots of challenges, despite that, God in his infinite Mercy still preserve and kept us to be alive," the lawmaker expressed.

Agunbiade equally made used of the thanksgiving to call on Nigerians to support the Candidacy of the APC National Leader and former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for President in 2023.

The lawmaker urged anybody that has the intention of coming out for presidency in 2023 to drop their ambition for Tinubu, asking them to join hands together and tighten the broom stronger for success.

Speaking with MegaXpression Media, the Majority Leader revealed that apart from thanking Almighty God, the purpose of the merriments and praises is equally aimed at restructuring the Onward Movement, by repacking the group in such a way that it'll become so dynamic to take it to another level.

"Also, aside from the annual thanksgivings, Oba Sekunmade road, Owutu Ayetoro road, Itamaga/Ijede road are roads we have facilitated by telling the government that this are the things we needed.

"When I met with the deputy governor last year, I highlighted some of the roads we want the Ministry of Works to do for us and presently, all the roads I mentioned in his office had been attended to by now.

"We have equally assisted in the area of employment and empowerment of our constituency by facilitating employment for some of our people and of course, we are trying to show more commitment to inflastructural development in our constituency," Agunbiade explained.

"We have also changed the policy of the onward movement and then fortify and created some directorates for Movement. They will work together to restructure Onward, so that we all practice genuine love among ourselves," Agunbiade said.
