KALEJAIYE BRINGS FASHION HOUSE TO HOME TOWN, OPENS 'WHITE COLLAR EXPRESSIONS' IN IGBOGBO, LAGOS. ...Oba Kasali, Engr Kalejaiye, others applaud his uncommon creativity.

An Igbogbo indigene, Sulaimon Kolapo Kalejaiye, has officially opened a Fashion House, meant for designing, clothing and image consulting, named 'White Collar Expressions'. The 'Ready to Wear' Studio was opened at opposite Ibeshe roundabout, along Ipakodo Road, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos.

Speaking with MegaXpression Correspondence, the CEO, Kolapo Kalejaiye said the initiative came into existence in 2016 as a fashion retailer and desired to make people look good, irrespective of social class, thereby creating an indigenous brand that not only produced clothing but helps people build images.

"White Collar Expressions had empowered so many youths and has employed as many as it can to reduce crime in our society. It is very simple and it helps to put smiles on the faces of its clients as a result of satisfactions derived from its services", Kalejaiye said.

"As much as profit minimization is concern to the business we also want to use this as an avenue to inspire young youths like me to be an assest to the community even to the nation at large," he added. 

His Dad, Engr Obafemi Kalejaiye, the M.D of Femcar Technologies Limited and immediate past Chairman, Igbogbo Day Planning Committee, equally said to MegaXpression News that, as a father, he filled very fulfilled on his son, Kolapo, noting that he has truly worked for his dream to come to reality.

"Despite the fact that Kolapo had a good degree in Business Administration, he still chose to serve himself and not any other person. I'm very proud and happy when he adopted the name 'White Collar Expressions' because he made up is mind not to work with any other body which I insisted because I wanted him to become an Enginner or a Chartered Accountant, but now a Chartered Tailor.

This is a lesson to the parents that we should allow our children to do what they love and have passion for, because they will be able to explore more in the field," Engr. Kalajaiye, Kolapo's Dad explained.

In his goodwill message, the Chairman of the Day, Mr Odunsi Komolafe, applauded Kolapo's dad for institing on education because if they are using degree in aspect of life, he had been able to help him achieve that.

"What Kolapo has done in this Divison may be small but it is very great. He has created wealth and employment opportunity which as an impactful effect on his society," Odunsi said.

Also, Dr. Damola Oriolowo, in his eloquent remarks equally appreciated Kolapo for not disappointing his parent, applauding him for nurturing his dream to reality.

"This is a clear example, not only for the youths but for the parents that we should try as much as possible to encourge and be a good role model to our children by studying what they can do best," Oriolowo said. 

In the same vein, a member of Royal Elite Brothers Club Igbogbo, Mr Babatunde Afuwape, thanked God for the great opportunity giving to the entire Igbogbo Kingdom, stating that the glory is not only meant for Kolapo, but for Igbogbo township.

"I enjoin you to promote your business by showcasing and advertising what you are doing, so that people will know what you are capable of doing. Market your products on social media and other source of information," Afunwape advised.

In his royal remarks, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, said Kolapo has chosen not to be a burden to his parent and himself but rather he has chosen a profession for himself that he feels he can contribute and expresss his own quota to the economic development of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
