BABAJIMI BENSON PUT SMILES ON THE FACES OF OVER 500 PEOPLE IN IKORODU DIVISION, SAYS 2019 ILEYA FESTIVAL MUST NOT BE CELEBRATED IN HUNGER.

It was another moment of joy on Saturday, 3rd of August, 2019, for the elderly, widows, needy and vulnerable people of Ikorodu federal  Constituency, when the Chairman, House Committee on Defense for the federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, repeated his kind gesture by doling out food, tagged 'Apo Aanu' to over five hundred constituents, at his constituency Office, Igbogbo, Lagos State. 

In his humbly remarks, Hon Babajimi Benson returned glory to Almighty God for his protection and guardian on his assignment as a Legislator. He thanked his constituents for giving him the opportunity to represent Ikorodu federal Constituency. "I am delighted for the opportunity afforded me to serve", he said. 

He further urged all to celebrate a peaceful and crime free Ileya festival, solicits for constant supports and prayers to enable him do more than what he is doing presently.

"This and some other pleasant gestures of course, had qualified Jimi Benson, as a symbolic representation of humility and good conscience in Ikorodu Division. By his character, Benson is repugnant to illiberal and inequitable principles", said by Mr Muftau Kolawole from Ward C in Ijede, while speaking with MegaXpression Community Magazine on the erudite legislator. 

Shortly after the pleasant remarks, the distribution of the food items began by members of iCARE Foundation with smiles of relief on the faces of the beneficiaries.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
