Agoro reiterated his commitment to improve on infrastructural development of the LCDA, and to achieve a sound healthy environment for his people. He therefore assured to complete the structure as soon as possible.
"At the early stage of our administration, we conceived the idea of the permanent site and consequently, we went ahead to procure 2- acres of land. This administration intends to leave behind and with the cooperation of all of us, this dream shall not pass away unfulfilled," he said.
"Another landmark intended achievement is to complete Imota Town Hall which the community has been trying to put in place through community efforts. I wish to salute the efforts of all involved till the stage it is now, most especially IMOTA AYAYO DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION who organize the ANNUAL IMOTA AYAYO DAY Celebration, where funds are being raised for the building project to where it is today.
“The Youth are the salt of the nation. In view of this fact, this administration has tried to identify some of our students, both indigenes and non – indigenes, especially the indigent ones and decided to give them bursary award to reduce financial kwashiorkor they might be facing. Even though more students are qualified for this award, we decided to start from somewhere till it speeds to many. We have also decided that this gesture shall be continuous.
"Similar to the identification of bursary awarded, this administration has identified some hardworking but indigent residents (both indigenes and non – indigenes) for empowerment. The benefit are in accordance with the individual skills learnt. This gesture too, if not misused by the current beneficiaries shall continue to be enjoyed for a long time and it shall spread to in the near future. I therefore urge all beneficiaries to use this privilege judiciously to the admiration of the benefactor.
“Health is Wealth. A common saying. It is somehow dishearten meant that many people do not pay attention on their health condition; instead money is being looked for, neglecting health. I wish to use this opportunity to sensitize everyone to pay more attention to their health. In view of the need to give encouragement, a health stand is available here to check our health status. I therefore enjoin all of us to partake in the exercise and whatever the result could be, should not be treated with levity," Agoro explained.
