JIMI BENSON AND HIS PRAGMATIC STEWARDSHIP IN IKORODU FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, LAGOS. By Shakiru Seidu, MegaXpression Media.
When the turn of events in the political arena of Nigeria is in place, performance is no doubt a yardstick to gain the trust of his or her people. My observation is NOT different on Ikorodu Federal Constituency of Lagos State.
One man who won the 2015 and 2019 Elections of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Member, Federal House of Representatives, had recently being in the centre of every Media houses, particularly MegaXpression Media, due to his uncommon performance and quality representation of his people.
He came aboard with a zeal to make a significant difference and put smiles on the faces of his Constituents, when it seems like no hope for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ikorodu Division.
The heroic story of Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, who is generally known and refer to as “JB”, is a man with salient great achievements as a lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
His ideology in life is "be good to all and help people, not minding either you know them or not”. A gentleman, down to earth per excellence, this young lawmaker has many unsung testimony of achievements in less than seven years of his stewardship serving the people of Ikorodu Division, MegaXpression Media learnt.
His progressive ideals over the years has endeared him closer to his Constituents and indeed fetched him the overwhelmingly endorsement for Third Term in 2023 by the Political Leaders and APC Stewarts in Ikorodu Division, a decision that was taken during the commissioning of multiple roads by Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and facilitated by JB.
Jimi Benson, who has won several hearts of his Constituents, was equally added to his feather in January 2021, with the Pillar Award of MegaXpression Media, where he bagged the BEST HOUSE OF REPS. MEMBER AWARD in Lagos State, for his outstanding achievements in public service.

Also, another unique initiative of Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, is the iCare Foodbank, a nonprofit charitable organization that buys food and grocery products and redistributes the items in a bag called ‘APO AANU or ‘MERCY BAG’ to individuals and vulnerable families in needs within Ikorodu Federal Constituency. Over 50,000 Households had therefore benefitted from this gesture in the last six years.

Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, on which he has gained my FULL ENDORSEMENT to contest and represent the people of Ikorodu federal Constituency for Third Term consecutively, at the Federal House of Representatives in 2023.
