IKORODU NORTH COUNCIL BOSS, ADEOLA BANJO UNVEILS 'WISDOM ON WALLS' IN MEMORY OF LATE MUM. | Shakiru Seidu. ...Says it's aimed at creating an inspiring, motivating environment for Students.

The Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Adeola Adebisi Banjo, was on Monday unveiled Wisdom on Walls, in memory of his late Mother, Omolara Risikat Sobajo JP. 

The event which took place at Oriwu Model College Ikorodu, Lagos, had in attendance Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, former SSG Lagos State and Member Governance Advisory Council, GAC, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, Chairman Ikorodu LG, the Anchor, Builder Olusesan Daini, Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwo-Ola, DG iCARE Foundation, Dr. Saheed Ibikunle, Special Adviser to Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, Commissioner Lanre Balogun, Dr. Seriki, APC Youth Leader, Lagos State, Hon. Tijani Olasunkanmi, Hon. Taiwo Orenuga, among other notable personalities.

The purpose of the 'Wisdom On Walls' was said to create an inspiring and motivating environment for students. By prominently displaying these counsels, students are reminded of the importance of education and are guided on their educational journey and personal development.

According to the Council Chairman, Builder Adeola Banjo, while addressing the gathering, "Today, as we unveil Wisdom on Walls, let it serve as a constant reminder to all who pass through these halls of the importance of industry, dedication, and the pursuit of wisdom. May the words etched on these walls inspire us to become the best versions of ourselves and strive for excellence in every aspect of our lives.

"To the students before me, I implore you not to squander your youth and potential. Do not be enticed by idleness, for it only breeds anguish and sorrow. Instead, apply yourselves diligently to your tasks, for greatness awaits those who are willing to put in the effort."

Banjo later extended his deepest gratitude to her late Mother, Omolara Risikat Sobajo JP and everyone in Lara Narrow Way Education Foundation, for their commitment in ensuring better life for the upcoming generation. "I extend my deepest gratitude to everyone at the Lara Narrow Way Education Foundation for their unwavering commitment to empowering and inspiring the next generation.

"May this unveiling project serve as a perpetual reminder to embrace the wisdom that surrounds us, cherish the guidance of our teachers, and wholeheartedly devote ourselves to our life's work," he added.
