In continuation of its resolve to be a resource and think-tank team for good governance, articulation of developmental ideas and promotion of people centered initiatives, The Apex Leadership of The Mandate Movement (TMM) cleavage met in Lagos to discuss and review current political issues and situation in the country.

i) Continuous engagement of the Leadership of the Nigerian Labour Unions towards finding a compromise to the minimum wage imbroglio.
ii) Waivers/relaxation of import duties and tariffs on some food items importation for six months to cushion the effects of food shortages and high prices.
iii) The landmark Supreme Court’s ruling on the right of the Local Government tier of government to financial autonomy, an outcome of a suit instituted by the attorney-general of the federation and a judicial decision that is expected to crystallize and engender rapid development and impactful growth at the grassroots.
