AROYEWUN GIFTS FOOD ITEMS WITH CASH TRANSFER FOR OVER 2,000 HOUSEHOLDS IN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. ...Monarch, Political Leaders, Others Commend gesture.


Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA Chairman, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has distributed essential food items with Cash Transfer to over 2,000 households in preparation for the Christmas and new year celebrations. The food pack contained Rice, Beans and Garri.

The gesture aims to ease the economic burden and ensure that the less privileged can celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays with joy and dignity.

Aroyewun, while overseeing the distribution, emphasised the importance of peace, unity, and shared prosperity among all citizens of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, irrespective of religious or tribes.

The Chairman further promised that his administration will continue to impact more lives and that the Council would do more in the area of skill development and acquisition. He reaffirmed his resolved to continue implementing policies and programmes that'll directly touch lives, strengthen social bonds and uplift the most vulnerable.

"The success of the Ounje HOA initiative once again positions Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA as a model of grassroots-focused administration, where compassion meets purposeful leadership," Aroyewun opined. And assured residents of economic employment early in 2026 to drive productivity, urging residents to have the spirit of compassion always. 

The event was graced by several distinguished personalities, reflecting broad-based political and community support for the initiative.
