CHRISTMAS: TAOFEEK AGORO PUTS SMILES ON FACES OF MANY IN IGBOGBO COMMUNITY.


Christmas 2025 was celebrated with renewed joy in Igbogbo community, as one of the proud sons of the soul, Alhaji Taofeek Agoro, popularly hyped as 'Omo Baba Ebute', delivered a monumental act of generosity by distributing Rice and Chickens with N5,000 each to more than 500 families in need.

The outreach was carefully structured to ensure fairness and inclusivity. While the beneficiaries described the gesture as a lifeline during a season of economic strain.

Beyond humanitarian interventions, Taofeek Agoro is a core progressive that loves the people within his surroundings. His entrepreneurial achievements are equally formidable, both in Nigeria and abroad.

One of the key anchors of the programme, Mr Shakiru Moritan Seidu, praised Agoro's Christmas outreach, describing it as a model of selfless leadership. "By this gesture, Taofeek has continued to redefine philanthropy, leaving an enduring legacy of compassion and cultural pride across Ikorodu Division and Igbogbo in particular," Seidu opined.

A new Chief Imam for the Igbogbo Central Mosque has been installed. He is Fadeelat Imam Abdulganiu Gazali , who was turbaned on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, as Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque and Grand Chief Imam Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA. He succeeds the late Fadilat Sheikh Dhikirulahi Abdulahi Andu (Tanimose) who died on the 2nd of June, 2025. Gazali , before his installation, was the Chief Imam Araromi Mosque , Itun-Abosan. He is from Amoju branch of Lantan Onanusi Family, Igbogbo, and was graduated from different Arabic and Islamic Colleges.
