END OF YEAR GET-TOGETHER PARTY: REP. JIMI BENSON HOSTS CONSTITUENTS, PROMISES MORE DIVIDEND OF DEMOCRACY IN 2026.


The Chairman House Committee on Defence, representing Ikorodu federal Constituency at the Green Chamber Abuja, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, and his political machinery, iCare foundation, were on Sunday, December 21, 2025, held their End Of Year Get-Together Party, at the Constituency office in Igbogbo, Lagos State.

At the well-attended event, were political Chieftains, community leaders, local government Chairmen, Councillors and the APC Stalwarts across Ikorodu Division, Social media Influencers among others were in attendance.

The occasion was also used to solicit for continuous support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR towards 2027 re-election. While Benson assured Constituents of Mega Empowerment in 2026. "We'll continue with more impactful programmes by next year," JB revealed.

In his eloquent remarks, Mayor Deen Sanwoola, the Director-General of iCare Foundation, thanked the Constituents in Ikorodu Federal Constituency for their unflinching support for Rep. Babajimi Benson, while also promising that iCare foundation would come up with more innovations that would be geared towards improving the lives of the people in the coming years.

As a tradition by the iCare foundation, games and gifts were exchanged amongst members of the group as a way of expressing love and affection for one another.

Meanwhile, there were lots of food and drinks for the guests that graced the occasion while many took to the dance floor to dance as a way of giving thanks to God for another successful year and in appreciation of Rep. Benson’s quality representation.

A new Chief Imam for the Igbogbo Central Mosque has been installed. He is Fadeelat Imam Abdulganiu Gazali , who was turbaned on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, as Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque and Grand Chief Imam Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA. He succeeds the late Fadilat Sheikh Dhikirulahi Abdulahi Andu (Tanimose) who died on the 2nd of June, 2025. Gazali , before his installation, was the Chief Imam Araromi Mosque , Itun-Abosan.
