ORENUGA, AKINSOLA, OTHERS REITERATE PRESIDENT TINUBU'S COMMITMENT TO GOOD GOVERNANCE, CHARGE MEMBERS ON CVR. ...As APC holds LGA Meeting in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.


The All Progressives Congress, APC, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, was on Thursday, December 4, convened its monthly meeting at the Methodist Primary School Igbogbo, Lagos. The gathering was presided over by Hon. Taiwo Orenuga, the APC Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, who warmly welcomed all the attendees.

Addressing the large crowd, Orenuga commended the Party leadership, the likes of Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola and Hon. Gbenga Oshin, for their unflinching support towards sustaining the Party. He asked members to keep praying for all the Political Office Holders, particularly Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru FCA, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro and Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, while applauding them for their unprecedented representation.

The LGA Party Chairman further emphasized on the importance of active participation in the Ward meetings, urging members to treat their attendance at the Ward level as a priority. He stressed that Ward participation would serve as a key measure of commitment within the party.

Orenuga also informed members to do more on the Continuous Voter's Registration (CVR) exercise, adding that Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA must leave its second position in the current registration exercise and take first among the Six Councils in Ikorodu Division. He encouraged all the eligible voters, including those who have lost their voter cards, need to update their information, or wish to transfer or relocate their registration, to take full advantage of the opportunity.

In a call to action, Orenuga directed all the Ward Chairmen to provide reports on the status of their respective Ward meetings, in which they did one after the other, adding that another APC Ward meetings would take place on Friday, the following day at their various Wards. He acknowledged the unavailability of the Council Chairman, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, and the Councillors at the meeting, to the ongoing 2026 Budget Retreat, and extended the party’s best wishes.

In the same vein, an Apex APC Member, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Member of the Lagos Seventh Assembly, commended Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, for his tremendous governance in his first 100 days in office. She charged members of the Party on CVR and the Party's registration, scheduled to commence in December, adding that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration will restore Nigeria back to its old glory.

Also, Hon. Gbenga Oshin and Alhaji Abdulah J. Bobomi, who were both members of the Apex APC body, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, also commended APC members' dedication to the Party, while urging them to improve more on the CVR.

A new Chief Imam for the Igbogbo Central Mosque has been installed. He is Fadeelat Imam Abdulganiu Gazali , who was turbaned on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, as Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque and Grand Chief Imam Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA.
