Ikorodu Musical Village was full to capacity with maximum security on Saturday, June 15, 2019, when the Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon SOB Agunbiade, hosted prominent dignitaries across Ikorodu Division, amongst which are APC leaders, political office holders, CDAs, market men and women, religious and traditional leaders, as well as other members of the public, to eat, drink together for the victory, love, supports and trust bestowed upon him since 2007 till date.

One of his Aides, Hon Azeez Olosugbo, former House Leader, Ikorodu LG, said to Shakiru Seidu of MegaXpression Community Magazine that, the good people of Ikorodu deserves to be appreciated for choosing wisely and voting for continuation of progressive representation even when they have numerous other qualified persons to choose from. "The best thing is to say thank you," he said.

In the same vein, Hon SOB Agunbiade appreciated the rare opportunity given him by his constituents, Party leaders, to uphold their mandate for the 4th term, saying the wonderful people of Ikorodu Constituency 1 are his 'destiny helpers.'

"I have always held the view that a man's portion in life is pre-determined and released from the high heavens; but handed over to the beneficiaries through his fellow humans. These humans are the agents we all prefer to address as "destiny helpers.

"You are one of my destiny helpers through whom the grace of God visited me in the last House of Assembly election and bestowed on me once again your mandate.

"I am neither the most intelligent nor the most competent amongst the various talented individuals who aspired to represent Ikorodu constituency 1, in the House of Assembly, but I deem myself simply ordained by God and elected by the people in the last general election. For this, I am very humbled and grateful to you all," he said.

"As a beneficiary of your mandate and trust, I promise to continue to justify the mandate and trust you have graciously reposed in me over the years. God being my strength and his grace being my armour, I will not let you down," Hon Agunbiade added.
