IGBOGBO BEGINS 32ND IGBOGBO DAY WITH SPECIAL PRAYER, SETS TO HOLD SUMMIT ON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. ...Oba Kasali, Akinsola, Daini, others charge all to embrace unity, progress.

The 32nd version of Igbogbo Day celebration was on Thursday, December 10, 2020, commenced in front of Adeboruwa Palace Igbogbo on a low key, recording the presence of prominent sons and daughters of Igbogbo Kingdom.

The Adeboruwa-in-Council, led by HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, traditional groups, Council Officials, members of Igbogbo Day Planning Committee and Igbogbo Development Association were all gathered to kick start the event with 'Iwure'. 

The traditionalists prayed for the growth and development for Igbogbo Community, while the Monarch also did same. He enjoined all to work together as a team towards the actualisation of better Igbogbo for all. 

Immediately after the prayers, a group of Lawyer were equally led in advocacy walk against violence and youthful exuberance, where series of questions were entertained.

Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Bldr Olusesan Mayokun Daini, his Vice and Cabinet members, Oluomo of Igbogbo, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, Chiefs headed by High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, Odofin of Igbogbo, members of IYC and The Vanguard group, joined HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, from the Palace to Kaniyi Owode Market Igbogbo, where Oloja day were celebrated with market men and women.
