RESIDENTS OF IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA ENLIGHTENED ON WASTE DUMPING, AS ENGR SHABI CONTINUES THE PUBLIC AWARENESS. | Shakiru Seidu. "Make your environment clean," Olusesan Daini enjoins the Stakeholders.

Special adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Cleaner Lagos Initiative, (CLI), Engr. Adebola Shabi has advised residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA to desist from dumping wastes indiscriminately especially on illegal spots.

Speaking at a special enlightenment campaign for stakeholders at the Council Secretariat, Igbogbo, he urged the people to embrace creativity in managing their wastes.

MegaXpression Magazine learnt that the enlightenment team of the cleaner Lagos initiative to Igbogbo was led by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Development Advisory Council, Alhaji Tajudeen Quadri and the Special Adviser on Cleaner Lagos Initiative, Engr Adebola Shabi. They sought to enlighten the people on the vision, scope and citizens role in ensuring the success of the cleaner Lagos initiative.

Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini lent his voice to the push for a cleaner, healthier society. Recycling was also mentioned as a viable option that is also pocket friendly. Market men and women were also urged by the Chairman to keep their environment clean and dispose refuse in waste bags for easy evaluation. 

MegaXpression magazine also gathered that the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, HRM Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, who was unavoidably absent was ably represented by some of his Chiefs. Also in attendance were CDAs, NURTW members, Road Transport Owners, Artisans, religious leaders, market men and women, Cart pushers, among others were in attendance.
