IKORODU METROPOLITAN LIONS CLUB EMPOWERS YOUTHS OF IKORODU. | Shakiru Seidu. "Make use of the opportunity," Lion Oredipe appeals to the beneficiaries.

Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club has keyed into the date set aside by the international association of Lions Clubs, (August 7-13) for youth empowerment program, whereby Clubs are expected to engage Youths within their community.

Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club is not left behind, as they fully sponsored 20 youths on a 2-month Vocation training at Emmy Bee Catering institute, where they'll learn how to bake cake, do small chops, donut, snacks, Beads making, Soap making, Photography, Makeup sections, among others. The Club also used the medium as a platform to recruit youths to the youth wing of the organization; Lions club.

The Club President, Lion Engr Oladele Olorunsola appreciated members of the club, most especially the project committee, for a well-planned project while he also reminded them that in the processes of sustaining the legacy of service of the club, the mountain is still very high as much focus is needed so as to achieve all stipulated project.

The Club Service Chairman, Lion Prince Tunji Oredipe, NLCF, however presented the training fee of all the students to the proprietress of Emmy Bee Catering institute.
