iCARE FOODBANK: BABAJIMI BENSON REPEATS HIS KIND GESTURE FOR THE LESS PRIVILEGE IN IKORODU DIVISION. | Shakiru Seidu. Urges his Constituents to celebrate peaceful Eid-el-Kabir festival.

As usual, hundreds of people gathered again at the Constituency Office of Hon Babajimi Benson, Member, House of Reps., representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, on Saturday, August 18, 2018, as another set of beneficiaries of the food items, tagged 'APO ANU' got their own portion of Babajimi's largesse in celebration of Eid-el-Kabir festival. The laughter on the faces of the beneficiaries cannot be over emphasised as they were showering prayers on Hon. Babajimi Benson and his amiable wife.

The gesture was also extended to members of APC in celebration of this year's Eid-el-Kabir festival, where over hundreds of Bags of Rice were distributed among the 6 LGAs and 30 Wards in Ikorodu Division, not minding some selected individuals across the Division.

The 'Stand' of the Executive and legislators of the six Councils in Ikorodu Division was equally busy, as the beneficiaries of JB's gesture were ushered to the 'Stand' to get additional items. This initiative was made by Babajimi Benson and done quarterly to encourage those in government at the grassroots to give back to the people.

Speaking through the iCARE Coordinator of Ikorodu West LCDA, Alhaji Ismaila Oriare, Hon Babajimi Benson thanked the residents of Ikorodu Division and members of APC for their unflinching supports giving to him. He enjoined all to celebrate a peaceful Ileya festival, solicited for prayers to enable him do more than what he is doing presently.

"Without any iota of doubt, Hon. Babajimi Benson has made name for himself and of which the people of Ikorodu Division will never forget him", this was said to MegaXpression Magazine by one of the beneficiaries.

Shortly after the pleasant remarks, the distribution of the food items began by Mr Yusuf and Aregbe with smiles of relief on the faces of the beneficiaries.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
