He enjoined the youths of Ikorodu Division not to set limit for themselves and improve their skills technologically. "To drive better business decisions and get more out of your teams and systems, an organization requires people, process, and technology.
"Building a view of technology in the company, projects, people, and money spent, allowed you to rationalize investments, focus the team on the most important areas, and resolve conflicting technology opinions that slow your progress." Olusola said.
Mr Orimolade in his view explained the importance of communication by stating its significant. But ealier, Mrs Olatomiwa Williams gave an insight on how Microsoft will take our idle youths away from the streets. She applauded the initiative of Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, Mayor Deen Sanwoola and the entire iCARE Foundation for the empowerment opportunity.
She urged the youth not to undermine themselves, maximize their potentials, enroll in Microsoft academy and the need to be thorough in thinking and execution. "You can be great technologically with having coding and computer background," Mrs Williams assured.
While speaking with Shakiru Seidu of MegaXpression magazine in a brief interview, Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, said: "My motive is that I hate giving my constituents handout, my motive is to liberate them. Liberation is education, and the biggest way to success nowadays is through ICT.
"So many people came from a poor background and today they have made it because of the knowledge they have in IT. They earn a lot of money in dollars, they've travelled all over the world. So the easiest way to attain success nowadays is ICT, and the good thing about it is that, there is a lot of demand for this skills that these people have come to teach us today.
"I have also learnt a lot, they've not only taught us, they showed us websites that Microsoft has that can train people to become self reliant and sufficient within 3weeks - 6months. So I think discipline is key, if the youths are discipline and they go through these processes that they've taught us here today, the sky will be the limit for this set of participants," He explained.
Hon Benson assured the Ikorodu youth that the future is bright, that once they know how to tap into opportunities, talents abounds. "We've provided the opportunity here today for the youth to learn and be proficient in ICT, so it a turn of a new dawn, I believe the sky is the limit." JB said.
He further said to MegaXpression Magazine that "My advice to Ikorodu youths on the forthcoming election is for them to pick up their PVC, ensure that Ikorodu becomes the number one voting block for APC in Nigeria and in Lagos State in Particular.
"Development is based on empirical data, after the election, it should be that Ikorodu has delivered tremendous number of votes to the party in the State and in the federal level. Then, we can hold the government accountable and demand for projects, demand for more commissioners and permanent secretaries in Lagos State.
"We should get to a position whereby when Ikorodu sneezes, Lagos will catch cold, because we have the population, we have expertise, we have the competence, we have vibrant youths, they are all doing well. So we won't be having any excuse not to be involved if we deliver on our voting capacity.
"I also got information that Ikorodu has the highest pickup points for PVCs in Lagos State, so we should use it and we should make it count," the erudite legislator, Hon Babajimi Benson said.
