EID-EL-KABIR: BABAJIMI BENSON GREETS MUSLIMS, PREACHES PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE IN IKORODU DIVISION. | Shakiru Seidu

The Member of House of Reps., representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, Hon Babajimi Benson has felicitated with Muslims in Ikorodu Division as they join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate this year’s Eld-el-Kabir.

Hon Benson, further in his felicitation expressed appreciation to the people of Ikorodu Division for their massive support to his representation and enjoined them to continue to eschew politics of bitterness and destruction as the Nation approaches the 2019 general election.

In a statement he personally signed, the erudite legislator said; “For every sacrifice you make today, may  Allah compensate you with His blessings and fulfill all your dreams.

"May happiness enter your household, stay late and leave the gift of Allah’s love, peace, joy and good health behind."

While speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, JB, as he's fondly called, urged his Constituents to continue to show genuine love and respect for one another and reflect on the ideals of peace, unity, cohesion and mutual understanding as well as be humane to the less privileged members of the society.

He therefore prayed to Almighty Allah to give Lagos State and Nigeria guaranteed peace, prosperity and violence free poll come 2019.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland.
