IKORODU METROPOLITAN LIONS CLUB CELEBRATES WITH OBA SHOTOBI, GIVES FREE HEALTH SCREENING, MEDICAL ADVICE TO RESIDENTS OF IKORODU. | Shakiru Seidu. "I am optimistic that the intervention programme would meet its target", Lion Oladele assures.

As part of Activities marking the 3rd year anniversary of HRM Lion Engr. Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom, who happened to be an Honorary Member of Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club. The Club has joined other Lions Clubs members in Ikorodu Division, in partnership with Ajayi Medical Centre to carry out Free Eye Screening, Free BP test and Free Medical advice to members of the community at Ayangburen Palace Ikorodu.

After presentation of portrait to the Monarch, Oba Shotobi said the recent economic downturn had made it difficult for poor people to access quality health care services. He therefore applauded Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club for the uncommon initiative and gesture.

While reacting to questions from MegaXpression Magazine, tbe Lion President, Lion Engr Oladele Olorunsola congratulated the Monarch on the 3rd coronation anniversary and applauded his wisdom and leadership quality since ascending the throne of his forefathers. He further expressed satisfaction with the beneficiaries of the programme and performance of the medics and expressed optimism that the intervention programme would meet its target in the life of people of Ikorodu Division.

The Governor of Lagos, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is to commission a newly reconstructed Aafin Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom , by the Administration of the outgoing Chairman, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini.
