HON BANJO ADEOLA ADEBISI DONATES HUNDREDS OF DESKS, CHAIRS TO SCHOOLS IN IKORODU NORTH LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu. "Our aim is to provide a conducive learning environment to pupils," the Council Chief reveals.

In furtherance of his passion to ensure Schools within Ikorodu North LCDA are learning friendly, the Chairman of the LCDA, Hon Banjo Adeola Adebisi, on Friday donated hundreds of Desks and Chairs to Estate Primary school, Low Cost, Ikorodu and African Bethel Primary School Erikorodo, saying it is a major milestone in his administration's efforts to provide a conducive learning environment to pupils of Ikorodu North. "A situation where four to five pupils sits on a Chair to learn and write is unacceptable," he added.

Banjo, who has been doing a lot to ensure Pupils of his LCDA have a conducive learning environment since he assumed office, noted that his administration recognises education as the hope for the development of the society.

“We know that a Nation’s hope relies on its children and children’s hope rely on education. Our administration has facilitated the provision of several material resources to boost the quality of education in Ikorodu North. We have several capacity building programmes and workshops in the offing to boost the knowledge of pupils and teachers.

"We have no doubt that the donation of these Desks and Chairs will go a long way in making our children more comfortable in studying and imbibing lessons. It will empower them sufficiently to contribute their quota in developing our Nation,” the Chairman said, while speaking with MegaXpression Community Magazine.

He further urged the school management to take good care of the furniture and deploy them to the use of school children.

The Chairperson of the School Basic Management Committee, Priness F.O Adeyemi, on behalf of the school management thanked the Chairman, Hon Banjo Adeola Adebisi, for the kind gesture, while like Oliver twist pleading with the Chairman to help look into the electrification of the classrooms.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
