LAGOS ASSEMBLY 2019: IKORODU SHUT DOWN, AS S.O.B AGUNBIADE OF APC FLAGS OFF CAMPAIGN. | Shakiru Seidu. Community leaders, Legislators, Party leaders, co-contestants, others, endorse his candidacy. "We aim of getting over 200,000 votes for APC in Ikorodu Division," Asipa Kaoli Olusanya reveals.

Ikorodu went agog on Saturday, as thousands of people trooped out to show support for the aspiration of the Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly and 'Opomulero' of Ikorodu, Hon SOB Agunbiade, to return to the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 1.

The event which had in attendance, Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, Hon Nurudeen Sholaja, Ikorodu II, Hon Tobun Abiodun, Epe I, Hon Segun Olulade, Epe II, Hon Rotimi Olowo, Somolu II, Mr Wasiu Adesina, Chairman Ikorodu LG, Hon Banjo Adeola, Chairman Ikorodu North, Princess Jumoke Jumbo, Chairman Ikorodu West, Comrade Olusesan Daini, Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku, Comrade Fatiu Salisu, Chairman Ijede LCDA, Hon Saheed Ibikunle, Hon Nurudeen Agbaje Nero, Prince Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan, Barr Lekan Ijelu, Hon Kafilat Ogbara, Mrs Bolanle Basorun, Prince Adegboyega Ologijo, Mr Abdulateef Bello, Dr Abiodun Fatai-Abatan and the representative of Hon Bayo Osinowo, Peperito, Omoba Adeyinka Oyeniran.

Others were the Party leaders, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, who was ably represented, Chief Olorunfumi Basorun, also represented by Hon Taiwo Orenuga, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Otunba Ayodele Elesho, Chief Dele Olowu, Chief Golden Jay, and a host of others witnessed massive turnout of the people of Ikorodu Constituency 1.

Speaking at the event, House of Reps member, Hon Babajimi Benson, said Hon SOB Agunbiade's victory was a done deal, urged people of Ikorodu Constituency 1 to vote wisely by ensuring that APC wins in all the elections including that of the President Buhari and Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In a similar way, Barr. Lekan Ijelu, on behalf of the other co-contestants, charged people of Ikorodu to return Hon SOB Agunbiade in 2019 to the Lagos State House of Assembly, saying the Party's decision is supreme. Hon Nurudeen Agbaje and Prince Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan were also tolled the same line.

Before handing over the APC flag to the erudite legislator, Hon SOB Agunbiade, the East Senatorial Vice Chairman for APC, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, urged all to vote massively for APC Candidates. He said Ikorodu is targeting 200,000 votes in the coming elections.

Asipa also stretched how he Put up his best to bury grievances among the aspirants. He charged all to work assiduously and deliver Ikorodu Division to APC, in order to increase the numbers of Commissioners coming to the Division.

Speaking to the mammoth crowd, Hon SOB Agunbiade, expressed joy and enthusiasm over the unflinching supports bestowed upon him by the people of Ikorodu Constituency 1. He was happy with the massive turn out of the Party’s members at the rally, saying Ikorodu people have determined to defeat the PDP by all means.

He assured of more quality representation of re-elected and insisted that Ikorodu will not be left out in the scheme of things in Lagos State. "We will ensure we argue and bring the deserved infrastructural development to Ikorodu Division," he added.
