Human and vehicular movement were on Saturday hampered as the Ikorodu Constituency II candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Abiodun Moshood Aro-Oyenuga, AMA, held a campaign rally ahead of the Lagos State House of Assembly elections come March this year.

Some vehicles plying the Oba Molaja Ogunlewe - Adeboruwa route had to either take one way to be able to pass through the crowd that attended the campaign rally of which held beside Adeboruwa Palace Igbogbo.

The campaign started with 'A Thousand Match' from Club Sheriff junction Ikorodu, with supporters and members of the party as early as 8am for the flagging off that commence in hernest around 11am when expected dignitaries arrived the venue.

Dignitaries who attended the campaign include PDP Chairman, Ikorodu Constituency II, Alhaji Issa Gbadamoshi, Mr Akeem Awosanya, Hon Omotayo Oduala, Women Leader, PDP Ikorodu Local Govt, Mrs. Karimot Ojikutu, Youth Leader, PDP Ikorodu Local Government, Mr. Kazeem Orelesi, Ward Chairmen across the nineteen recognized Wards in Ikorodu Local Govt, candidate for the Lagos East Senatorial District, Princess Abiodun Oyefusi, candidate for the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Mrs. Omotolani Popoola, candidate of Ikorodu Constituency I, Hon Lamina, Parties loyalists, representatives of all Non Yoruba Speaking, Clubs/Associations, Members of the AMA Volunteers Group, AMA babes, among several other personalities.

The PDP candidate for Ikorodu Constituency II seat, Hon Abiodun Moshood Aro-Oyenuga, AMA, charges those in attendance to ensure that PDP candidates are voted all through in the coming elections.

AMA, as he fondly called, thanked Igbogbo Monarch and the entire people of Igbogbo for the love towards him. He enjoined the youth get their PVC ready, eschew money politics and shun violence during and after elections.

All other dignitaries in attendance who spoke one after the other averred that the ruling party should not be voted for if Nigeria and Nigerians are to move forward. They promised to provide quality governance if voted into power and called on eligible voters to vote all PDP candidates and ensure that to safeguard their votes on the various election days.
