The ancient Kingdom of Igbogbo, in Lagos State, on Thursday played host to prominent personalities in Igbogbo and beyond, as an APC Chieftain and former Supervisory Councillor for Education in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Adeleke Isreal Bolowotan celebrated his 50th Birthday Anniversary in style.

The golden jubilee ceremony have in attendance the presence of the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Bldr. Olusesan Mayokun Daini, APC Chieftains, Chief Adenrele Olowu, Alh. Jamiu Benson, Hon Titilola Adegboyega, Mr Adewale Bolowotan, Hon Iyabo Salisu, Hon Wasiu Olowu and Hon Shehu Aganga.

Other notable dignitries at the event were the Councillors representing Wards C1 and C2 in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon. Basirat Banjoko and Hon. Hakeem Sholawon, C.E.O MegaXpression Media, Mr Shakiru Seidu, Mr Tunde Afuwape, Mr Adeyemi Oshodi, among others.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
