"Sen. Ogunlewe has been doing this as far back as 1995 and I was one of the beneficiaries of his scholarship then. I equally attended this school about thirty years ago and I give glory to God for where I am today. Where you come from does not determine who you will be, you are the only one that can put limitation on yourself, nothing in life can limit you from getting to the greater height you want to attain in life.
"Giving back to the community should be a way of life, other Stakeholders across Ikorodu Division should also assist the students and telling them that whatever they are doing, they should take it seriously as regard to education.
"To the students, this is meant to encourage everybody to succeed and we want you to know that the scholarship programme that we started is a very competitive programme. What we intended to do is to encourage you to aspire to do great in life, if you are not one of the recipients today, you don't have to feel bad, but I want this to prepare you to be among the recipients next time and beyond.
