It was an eventful occasion on January 1, 2022, when some of the All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders in Ikorodu Division, at different gatherings celebrated new year festival with party stalwarts and members of their families. 
Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, in the middle, with some of her loyalists, during the New Year Party at her residence in Igbogbo.

The turnouts were very impressive at all venues. People of different pedigrees were in attendance inside the compounds of Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, where fabrics and attires of different colours rented the air and the guests were beaming with smiles.

Olusesan Mayokun Daini, Aremo Adesegun Ogunlewe, former Sole Administrator, Mrs Bolanle Basorun, Wards Councillors, led by the national Chairman, Councillors Forum of Nigeria, Hon Nurudeen Alimi, APC stalwarts, members of their families, religious leaders, friends and well wishers.

The Governor of Lagos, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is to commission a newly reconstructed Aafin Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom , by the Administration of the outgoing Chairman, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini.
