IDRDG APPOINTS SHAKIRU SEIDU AS BOARD MEMBER, IKORODU TOWN HALL MANAGEMENT BOARD. ...Says it's in view of his indelible, invaluable contributions to socio- economic development of Lagos State.

Barely two days to his 48th Birthday, Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group, IDRDG, has approved the appointment of the former Legislative Aide and Publisher, MegaXpression Media, Mr Shakiru Seidu, as member of Ikorodu Town Hall Management Board.

Seidu, who was recently voted as the 2021 Media Personality of the Year, was said to be appointed based on his indelible and invaluable contributions to socio- economic development of Lagos State and Ikorodu Division in particular.

According to the letter dated January 14, 2022, and signed by the General Secretary and former Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barr. Rotimi Ogunleye: "IDRDG at its meeting held on Sunday, 9th January, 2022, considered and approved your nomination into the board in view of your indelible and invaluable contributions to the socio-economic development of Lagos State, Nigeria and particularly the Ikorodu Division. 

"Your membership of Ikorodu Town Hall Management Board is for two years term (2022-2023). By the appointment, you are required to attend the board meeting every last Saturday of the month or first Saturday of the month, at Gbadamosi Conference Room, Ikorodu Town Hall by 2:00pm prompt."

Stating the terms of reference of the Board, Seidu and other Board members are to manage the affairs of Ikorodu Town Hall to ensure that it's operate efficiently for the delivery of its service. And to formulate policies and strategies that will make Ikorodu Town Hall competitive in its sector.

Also, to ensure its financial statement and other reports are transparent and they are in compliance with accepted standard, and generally, to oversee the operations of the Ikorodu Town Hall for sustainability and continuity.
